In Van Gogh's footsteps
Vincent van Gogh arrived in Auvers in May 1890 and spent the last seventy or so days of his life there, painting relentlessly. The village keeps his landmarks: the Auberge Ravoux, where he lodged; the church of Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, which he painted; and the cemetery, where he lies beside his brother Theo.

LabMusée, the art of today
A two-minute walk from the Auberge Ravoux, LabMusée is open Friday to Sunday, 2 pm to 6 pm: the current exhibition, Alixe Fu's permanent collections and the Sign-Me Garden, a sculpture garden you are allowed to touch. Entry €7, timed ticket.

The final chapter of the visit: exceptional Taiwanese teas, signature matchas and chef Jérémy Tuaz's pastry, during museum hours. The Entry + drink ticket (€10) includes one drink at the LabCafé.

Getting here from Paris
- By train
From Paris Gare du Nord, via Persan-Beaumont or Pontoise: 35 to 55 minutes to Auvers-sur-Oise station, then a 10-minute walk to the museum.
- By car
A15 then N184, Auvers-sur-Oise exit: about 45 minutes from Porte de Clignancourt. Free parking 80 metres from the museum.
- By bike
The Avenue Verte London-Paris runs nearby. Bike racks at the garden entrance.
- Accessibility
The whole museum is wheelchair accessible: the galleries (lift to the upper floor), the garden and the LabCafé. Let us know you are coming and we will greet you at the entrance.

Van Gogh and the art of today
For more than a century, people have come to Auvers for one painter. LabMusée was born of the idea of adding something other than commemoration: living creation, made here and now.
Upstairs, Alixe Fu's permanent collection Anti-Rétro — Portraits métissés revives anonymous 18th- and 19th-century canvases damaged by time. On the ground floor, one temporary exhibition at a time takes over the place. And in summer 2026, Jordane Saget's Ondes & Lignes answered Van Gogh's Auvers landscapes directly.
