Every card is printed with a detail from an Alixe Fu canvas in the permanent collection — the print changes each season. It is personal, and its access QR code lives in your member area as soon as membership is confirmed: you do not wait for the post to walk in.

The app
The wall label is never big enough
A wall label holds forty words. The LabMusée app has no wall: every work carries its full notice, studio images, its pre-restoration state where one exists — and, for many, a few minutes of podcast to listen to while standing in front of it. It is reserved for members, and unlocks with your card.

Detailed notices, provenance, pre-restoration state, and the current exhibition route in the order you walk it.

A few minutes per work or per room, to listen to on site — the curator's voice, sometimes the artist's.

Questions we are asked
- Does LabMusée membership qualify for tax relief?
- Yes. As a public-interest organisation, 66% of your membership is deductible from French income tax. A €35 Friend membership actually costs you €11.90; a €650 Founder membership costs €221. The tax receipt is issued automatically.
- Do members need to book?
- No. Members walk straight in during opening hours, with no booking and no queue. Booking remains necessary for capacity-limited experiences (yoga, masterclasses, concerts), where members get priority.
- How does the membership card work?
- Your personal card is available immediately in your member area, with an access QR code to show at reception. A physical card is handed to you on your first visit.
- Can membership be given as a gift?
- Yes, every tier can be gifted. You receive a gift card to print or email, and the recipient activates the membership on the date of their choosing.
- Does membership renew automatically?
- Never without your agreement. You get a reminder one month before expiry and choose freely whether to renew.
